The panellists are Shirong Chen from the BBC World Service, Tom Porteous of Human Rights Watch, The Guardian's Simon Tisdall and Liu Weimin from the Chinese Embassy. Isabel Hilton from Chinadialogue.net chairs the dicsussion. Tim Black at Spiked takes issue with the tone of the debate.

China has many problems, but we have to give more time for them to change. I can't image to make changes quickly for a country with 1.3 billion people.
