Screening – Life in a Day

From Academy Award winning director Kevin MacDonald comes the incredible cinematic experience of one day in the life of planet earth. Filmed by thousands of participants on 24 July 2010 and edited into one astonishing documentary, Life in a Day follows selected participants as they undergo the trials and tribulations of life. From marriage to birth, war to poverty, hope to love, we see humanity collectively through the film’s lens.

The truly remarkable feat of the film is the use of crowdsourcing for its content. Unlike other documentaries which have attempted to unite peoples around the world through filming crews, Life in a Day actually uses the content uploaded by the subjects of the documentary itself.  Life in a Day offers the most intricate portrait of life in the 21st century.
