On his wedding day, Ashraf Al-Khaled saw what was supposed to the happiest moment of his life turned upside-down as an Al-Qaeda suicide bomber killed 27 members of his family, including his own father.

Despite the tragedy of the event, Al-Khaled has made a bold decision to speak out against terrorism in the Middle East. Travelling around Al-Qaeda strongholds and speaking to hardened members and junior recruits of the group, Al-Khaled exposes the motivations and realities behind life as a terrorism.
