Reporter Evan Williams and Producer Alex Nott travel to Mexico where they find journalists increasingly under attack for reporting what’s really happening in the country’s drug war.

In the nation’s deadliest city Cuidad Juarez, where 3,000 people were killed last year in a vicious and bloody war between drugs cartels and the security services, they meet a remarkable journalist, Lucy Souza who has been hailed as one of "Mexico’s most courageous women".

A copy of one of her articles has been left next to a severed head on the roadside and her colleagues have already paid the ultimate price. Undaunted, she continues reporting and has vowed to expose the truth surrounding allegations that the police collude with narco traffickers in carrying out executions.
