Frontline will pull together a panel of journalists, aid workers and country experts and try to get to the bottom of what is really going on in Burma. What is the situation in the worst affected areas and how much aid is actually getting through? And what is the relationship between the military junta and the international community?

Ashley South
is an independent consultant, specialising in ethnic politics, displacement and humanitarian issues in Burma.
He has visited the country more than 50 times, and is the author of a new book to be published in mid-June: ‘Ethnic Politics in Burma: States of Conflict’

Colin Freeman is the Chief Foreign Correspondent at The Sunday Telegraph and has just returned from reporting in Burma.
