Recently, after two gruelling months in Baghdad reporting on the war for the Fox News Channel in America, I finally came home... I curled up on the sofa with a glass of wine and picked up the remote control. Moments later, I was staring open-mouthed as my 19-year-old half-sister Brooke laid bare her life for a new reality show on MTV. Flicking her blonde hair extensions and thrusting her new breast implants towards the camera, she explained she wanted to be a war reporter just like our father, CNN correspondent Brent Sadler.
I didn't know whether to laugh or throw the TV remote at the screen. Brooke's been spoiled and pampered her entire life. She wouldn't last five minutes in a war zone. I think her idea of hardship is being more than ten minutes from a nail-bar. link
