Elephant's graveyard

Words of woe for club members John Simpson and George Alagiah seeping from the pen of Daily Mail columnist Richard Kay today,
Perhaps globetrotting John Simpson should avoid the Pan Bookshop on the Fulham Road when next in London. His book News From No Man's Land is at half price in the shop's closing down sale and is, alas, failing to shift. Happily, the BBC's World Affairs Editor is in distinguished company. Also prominently displayed and failing to sell are George Alagiah's A Passage To Africa, Michael Buerk's The Road Taken and John Humphrys' In God We Doubt. Says a staff member: "The books by the BBC boys aren't shifting. Bit of an elephants' graveyard, I'm afraid." link
